About This Blog: Which Tools Get Reviewed Here, and How
Disclosure: some of the links on this blog are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, I may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It does not change your price, and it does not decide what gets written here or how a tool is described.
What this blog is
This is a blog about software that carries a high-ticket affiliate program — the kind of tool a solo creator or a small team pays a real monthly fee for, not a cheap app subscription. In practice that means AI content and video tools, SEO and marketing software, funnel and SaaS platforms, and travel booking services.
From this post onward it is written in English. There is a note further down about the Korean posts that came before.
How the reviews here are put together
Most tool reviews are written from memory, from a press page, or from another review. That is how a feature that was pulled a year ago stays in circulation, and how a starting price that went up long ago stays low forever across a lot of blogs at once.
The thing done differently here is small and fairly boring, and it is the entire point: vendors' own public pages are fetched on a schedule and kept, and every factual claim about a product in a post here is quoted out of that stored copy word for word, with the source URL and the date it was collected sitting next to it. A claim looks like this:
"Pictory Pricing | From $25 per Month"
— pictory.ai/pricing, collected 2026-08-28
Two things follow from that. First, you can check any vendor claim on this blog yourself, without taking my word for it. Second, you can see how old it is — and when the date on a quote is months behind, that is your signal to distrust it, including in the cases where I have not got round to refreshing the post.
What that method does not do
- It does not verify anything. A vendor's page is the vendor's marketing. Quoting it accurately means you are reading their claim, correctly attributed and correctly dated — not an independently measured result.
- It only covers the pages that were actually fetched. If something is not quoted in a post here, by far the likeliest reason is that it was not on the page I collected. Absence from my copy is not evidence that a vendor does not offer a thing, and it will never be presented that way.
- Prices, plan limits and feature lists move without notice. The date on the quote is the only honest guarantee attached to it. Before you pay, open the vendor's page.
What you will not find here
No income screenshots, no traffic charts, no how I made X with this tool in 30 days. That is not modesty or a stylistic preference — those numbers would be fiction. This project has not earned anything worth reporting and its traffic is close to nothing, and a blog that opens by inflating its own results has already told you exactly how much the rest of it is worth.
You also will not find commission rates, payout terms, or any version of this program pays well, go join it. This blog is written for someone deciding whether to buy a tool, not for someone deciding which affiliate program to sign up to. Those are two different readers and only one of them is being served here.
About the Korean posts
This blog started in Korean in 2025, and the Korean posts are still here. Some of them are not: they had been written up from other people's videos in the first person, as though the experience in them were mine. That was not fair to the people who made those videos and not fair to anyone reading, so they came down rather than being quietly tidied up. The Korean posts that remain are ones I wrote myself, and those are the ones being rewritten in English — rewritten and re-sourced, not run through a translator.
The sister site
The same work feeds a directory site, mega-deal.org, which lists high-ticket affiliate programs with a page for each one. Two pages there are worth reading before you trust anything on either property:
- About — where the program records come from, which of them are confirmed rather than inferred, and how the site is paid for.
- Terms of use — the affiliate disclosure in full, and how far the program data there can be relied on.
That site is larger and messier than this blog, and it says so about itself in plain words on the About page, including the parts that are inferred rather than checked. Posts here link to the matching tool page there where one exists.
If something here is wrong
A price, a plan limit, a feature that no longer exists: tell me and it gets corrected, with a date on the correction like everything else. If you are the vendor and you would rather a post about your product were gone entirely, say so and it comes down — you do not have to give a reason. Write to hello@mail.mega-deal.org.
